A standard 8×10 gable shed takes 1.5–2 days. A 10×12 takes 2–3 days. Larger sheds (12×16 and up) take 3–5 days. All work happens on your property — we show up with materials and build the entire structure from the ground up. No prefab panels, no factory assembly.

Our standard gable roof pitch is 7/12, which provides a good balance of headroom, loft usability, and weather resistance. Yes. Lofts are one of our most popular upgrades. A full-width loft doubles your usable storage space without increasing the footprint. We frame lofts with structural-grade lumber and include a loft ladder or access opening. Lofts work best in sheds 10×12 and larger where there's enough headroom.

In most Charlotte/Mecklenburg County areas, sheds under 12×12 (144 sq ft) on a non-permanent foundation typically don't require a building permit. Sheds 144 sq ft and larger generally do require a permit. HOA rules may add additional restrictions.
